How to use this tool

  1. Select the PDF and choose selected-page extraction or splitting every page.
  2. For extraction, enter one-based page numbers and ranges such as 2-4, 7.
  3. Generate the output and confirm the selected pages and order in the downloaded files.

Formula & method

Page numbers are one-based. A range includes both endpoints; commas combine ranges or individual pages. Repeated page numbers are included once. Split-every-page produces one PDF for each page, with a 300-page limit per run.

A practical example

The selection 2-4, 7 extracts pages 2, 3, 4, and 7 into one PDF. Reordering this list also changes the output order.

When this tool is useful

Share only a relevant chapter or separate a packet into individual pages. Enter the actual PDF page positions rather than printed page labels, which may start later or use Roman numerals.

Common mistakes and limitations

  • Page 1 means the first page in the file, regardless of any number printed on that page.
  • The every-page mode has a 300-page limit per run; very large files may also reach processing limits.

Frequently asked questions

Are repeated page numbers included twice?

No. Repeated selections are included once. Check the result when combining overlapping ranges.

Can I change the output page order?

Yes. The selection order controls extraction order. Always preview the resulting PDF before sharing it, especially when mixing individual pages and ranges.
